Passed away peacefully on 18th December 2025, aged 88 years at Peterborough City Hospital, following a short illness. Loving wife to the late Derrick Cane. Wonderful and loving mum to Tony and Gillian and a loving, caring Nanny ‘Cane’ to Sean, Alex, Kristie and Cameron and a adored mother-in-law to James. She will be greatly missed by all who knew her. Sylvia’s funeral ceremony will take place at Huntingdon Crematorium on Wednesday 21st January at 12noon. Family flowers only please. Donations in Sylvia’s memory are for Sue Ryder, St John’s Hospice and can be made online at sylvia-cane.muchloved.com.
