My wife passed away on the 11th October. I was recommended by a friend and was well pleased with the service from Kingfisher Funerals. The whole event ran as clockwork. Lorraine the celebrant was excellent and was appreciated by everyone who attended. Pleased that a ‘not pleasant’ event went so well. Thank you for a job well done.
Having read other testimonials I liked the sound of Kingfisher and so made contact. From the moment I got in touch, I knew we were going to be well looked after. Scott and Andrew are just lovely and so professional. My children aged 22 and 23 arranged the service for their father and everyone commented on what a lovely service it was. I just wanted to say a huge thank you for making dad’s funeral so special a send off for him, and a perfect tribute to him from us. From the first contact, every person we spoke to was incredibly supportive and caring, yet professional. We felt listened to and understood, and everything we asked for was included in the service, it felt as though nothing was too much trouble. It also felt that you both showed the utmost respect to dad, it didn’t feel like you or the team saw it as just a job, rather that you all really cared about both dad and us.

Kingfisher immediately struck us as being more accessible and personable than other providers we visited. They handled all the proceedings with great empathy, flexibility and sensitivity. Nothing was too much trouble and they managed to find exactly the right formula of location, timings and celebrant to suit our aspirations. We visited all three funeral directors in St Neots before being drawn to Kingfishers. They are lovely people, with a warm, friendly and caring approach. They explained all the options to us, and gave us time to decide what we wanted. What impressed me the most, my husband had been ill for many years, with a number of disabilities, so it was hard to think beyond those times. But by listening to my family and I talking about the past (the better times) the celebrant was able to give my husband the send off he deserved and reminded us of the good and fun times. And even now, nearly 5 months on, they still stop and ask how we are. We are really grateful for their help and the kindness they showed us.
